Luke Salisbury is a Professor of English at Bunker Hill Community College and was co-director of the Commonwealth Honors Program.  He is the author of  the cult classic The Answer Is Baseball, and three works of fiction, The Cleveland IndianBlue Eden and Hollywood & Sunset which was selected as Book of the Year (Fiction 2006) by Online Review of Books & Current Affairs, won Best Historical Fiction 2006 from USABookNews, and was a Finalist for a Ben Franklin, ForeWord Magazine and an IPPY award.

Mr. Salisbury attended The Hun School, New College, and received an MA in Creative Writing from Boston University.  There’s a story circulating that Hollywood and Sunset is referenced in Thomas Pynchon’s novel Against The Day.

That, as they say, is another story, though Mr. Salisbury and Mr. Pynchon grew up in the same town on Long Island. A long time ago.
